Our plant ally and guide for this month's Citrus Sens-ation product collection is the Citrus family, known for its uplifting and rejuvenating properties and its ability to bring us clarity and greater awareness. Is there anything more uplifting than the aroma of a freshly cut lemon or the scent that seems to surround you when you are peeling an orange? The slight mist that erupts from the peel releases a bright, uplifting aroma that is reminiscent of liquid sunshine. That is the essential oil of the citrus family, often referred to as the “happy oils”, the embodiment of the sun, radiating joy and positivity. Peace - The sunflower, Ukraine’s national flower, is becoming a symbol of resistance against the country's invasion by Russian forces. Throughout Ukraine’s history, the flower has been used as a symbol of peace. Its exuberant and lively form represents the antithesis of the destruction now being suffered by the Ukrainian people. This bar celebrates the people of Ukraine and with it we send our prayers for peace. A portion of all proceeds from the sale of this bar goes to the non-profit, Sunflower of Peace, to provide aid to the people of Ukraine. A bright and sunny blend of lemon, mandarin, rose and jasmine with base notes of tonka and amberwood.

April Activities in the Shop & Around Town
There are lots of fun activities happening this month in downtown Pittsboro! Yesterday's First Sunday was booked solid with new and creative vendors. If you haven't been to First Sunday in a while, you need to add it to your monthly calendar! We're always open during First Sunday, so after your stroll around downtown, walk a few blocks west of the Circle to check out the latest collection drop at the shop.
The 2nd Annual Found It! Chatham Rabbit Hunt takes place this coming Saturday, April 9th. Gather some friends to participate in this fun scavenger hunt escapade to find the hidden rabbit sculptures. The first 25 people to find 4 of the 6 rabbits and take a selfie with them will win a $10 gift voucher to spend at participating Main Street Pittsboro merchants. Guess what?! We're a participating merchant, yay! There's also a raffle for participants to win a gift basket filled with goods donated by downtown merchants.
The EGGstreme Spring Fling is also on Saturday, April 9th at the Chatham Central Community College Campus. Bring the kiddos for an egg hunt, crafting, pics with the Easter Bunny and more!
From April 9th-16th, children and adults are invited to read, giggle, walk, discuss and explore historic downtown Pittsboro during the Storybook Walk. Continuing the rabbit theme that Chatham County is known for, pages from “Wolfie the Bunny” will be visible in the windows of participating downtown businesses. The first pages of the story will be on display at the Welcome Center at 37 Hillsboro Street. Maps that illustrate the walking path needed to read subsequent and sequential pages of the book will be available at the Welcome Center as well. A delightful family event co-sponsored by Main Street Pittsboro and the Chatham Community Library.
On Saturday, April 23rd, there's another exciting scavenger hunt adventure sponsored by Circle City Merchants, Pittsboro Treasure Quest. This one kicks off at the SoCo patio with live music and festivities, including a party at The Mod.
