VESTA
The Roman Goddess Vesta is our guide on this aromatic journey, as a Goddess of the Hearth and the Sacred Flame. The hearth is the fire that burned in the household hearth and symbolizing the warmth and safety of the home. Vesta’s presence was invoked during meals, gatherings, and family ceremonies to foster unity and harmony within households. According to legend, Prometheus (the Titan who gifted humanity with fire) gifted Vesta with a radiant flame, representing the warmth of a hearth that endures. In gratitude for this divine offering, Vesta made a solemn vow of chastity and devoted herself entirely to maintaining the eternal flame’s vitality and upkeep. The eternal flame that was kept burning in her temple was considered crucial for the well-being and protection of Rome. This fire was tended by the Vestal Virgins, a dedicated group of priestesses who swore 30 years of service to the Goddess and the flame (all the while maintaining their chastity). 
 
Vesta’s sacred flame represents our inner light - our spiritual self. Working with this Goddess can help us create a sense of inner peace and emotional stability, much like the peace and warmth of a well-tended home hearth, and can inspire growth, healing, and a deeper appreciation for the sacred aspects of the home and personal sanctuary.  She's a lovely goddess to connect with during Aries season, to balance out the fiery vigor and  dynamic excitement of Spring and bring you safely home to a place of peace and stability.
 
Our Vesta blend starts with intoxicating black rose, accented by spicy pink peppercorn, creamy vanilla, dark patchouli, earthy labdanum & sultry warm amber, with just a whisper of smokiness, to create a mystical aromatic journey of dark sophistication and seduction. Our thoughtfully formulated aromatic blend may seem to be a paradox with respect to our chosen (ahem, virginal/vestal) Goddess, but we think she would approve! Its comforting warmth may wrap you in its cozy embrace like a crackling fire on a cold day OR it might just light your passionate inner fire....either way, her fire will burn. ;)
