Our Verdigris candle heralds a beautiful heirloom ceramic tumbler in a soft green shade. We've given this candle the moniker Verdigris after the verdant green patina of oxidized copper. It's the enduring color of timelessness; verdirgris retains a reassuring feel and underlying elegance. Think of copper domes on stately buildings and Lady Liberty. It's not just a shade of green; it's a meaningful moment of dignity and distinguishment.

We've scented Verdigris in a green-leaning, herbaceous blend (of course!). The heart of this herbal melange is the beloved rosemary paired with earthy sage. Cooling eucalyptus and pine notes and warm cedarwood reinforce the botanical beauty of this iconic scent. A perfect complement to any home all year round, but particularly lovely whenever you have company. It's clean, refreshing notes will make your guests feel comfortable and welcome and offer an atmosphere of elegance and serenity.

As with any candle, size matters! Small candles are best suited for small rooms with normal ceiling height. Think bathrooms or smaller sized bedrooms. The larger the room size, the larger the candle(s). Consider the 8-10 rule: for scent to permeate the entire room, position one 8oz candle for every 10ft of room radius. It’s all about discovering the perfect match between your candle and your room. Remember to allow your candle, no matter the size, to burn for at least one hour, or until the wax pool reaches the edge of the container, to prevent tunneling. We ALWAYS recommend that you ensure a FULL MELT POOL on your first burn of any candle (that means the wax is completely melted to the edges of the container). Candles have a memory and the first burn is crucial to the candle's future performance throughout its life. Don't limit your candle's potential!

To get the optimum lifespan and burn time from this handcrafted candle, please observe these candle care tips:

On first lighting, burn for a minimum of 2 hours OR until entire top is fully melted to edges.
For subsequent lightings, always burn until a 1/4" deep melt pool is achieved.
When extinguishing, ensure the wick is straight and centered.
ALWAYS keep wick trimmed to a max of 1/4" before lighting.
Do not allow ash or dust to accumulate in melt pool.
Only light candles on a flat, even, heatproof surface. Rotate regularly to ensure an even melt pool.
Do NOT move candle while burning.
Keep out of direct sunlight.
Abide by safety instructions on bottom of container.
