Thunder Moon: July 10, 2025
For centuries, people have followed the cycles of the moon, using its phases to guide planting seasons, celebrations, and religious observances. Full moon names were a significant part of ancient cultures worldwide, reflecting their connection to nature and the rhythms of life. These names held deep meaning and were closely tied to the natural world.
Thunder Moon is one of the Indigenous names given to the July full moon owing to the prevalence of thunderstorms during this season. Other names include the Buck Moon and Sturgeon Moon. We chose Thunder for our Cancer Collection because it matched up best with our ocean theme! And well, as you can see, it made for a dramatic soap design!
Our Thunder Moon soap design depicts a furiously churning sea beneath a stormy night sky under a full moon. You can almost hear the thunder booming and see the lightning flashing ominously! Black Icelandic lava salt tops these bars for an extra bit of dramatic flair.
Thunder Moon succinctly captures a darkly aquatic aromatic experience! Salty marine notes wrap around a soothing heart of lavender and sandalwood. A sumptuous and seductive base of dark musk, amber, vetiver and cedarwood elevates this blend to luxury status. Our most masculine blend!
All of the soaps in our Cancer collection were made with a traditional "soleseife" method - basically a seawater brine solution! This unique formula creates a deeply cleansing bar with generous moisturization, leaving your skin silky soft and smooth.
Approx 4-4.5oz bar
Handcrafted soap will continue to evaporate water and lose weight over time. This makes for a finer, harder, and longer lasting bar.

Thunder Moon Artisan Botanical Soap
Handmade soaps need to breathe! We recommend storing your soap on a slatted or free draining soap dish so that it can air dry in between uses.
- Remove botanical toppings prior to use.
- Don't allow your soap to sit in a puddle of water.
- Use a wash cloth, loofah or soap saver bag to extend the life of your soap bar.
- Use your soap bar within one year of purchase. I know they're pretty to look at, but they're intended to be used so enjoy them! :)
- Store unused soap out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperature fluctuations and high humidity conditions.
- You may experience colored lather with dark or brightly colored bars; however, no permanent staining should occur.
- Discontinue use if irritation occurs
- Soaps are for external use only & are not edible
