Essential oils and hydrosols of traditional sacred plants are carefully blended in this refreshing and fragrant spray to disperse the same natural plant energy used throughout the ages in cleansing ceremonies. Quite often, you will find herb bundles or cleansing sprays that include endangered sacred plants such as white sage, palo santo, frankincense, sandalwood, etc. I, however, have intentionally chosen to select only plants that are widely available here in NC and not considered endangered. In this way, the selected plants retain their local connection, are bio-regionally appropriate, are not in any danger of being over-harvested. Easy on the environment and no risk of cultural appropriation! In addition, each bottle has been blessed with pure Reiki love to enhance its energetic power. The spray contains the following herbs, with a summary of their energetic profiles.
Herbal Energetics
Garden Sage – a powerful traditional cleansing & protection herb. Used in ceremonial work to drive out evil spirits, negative thoughts & feelings, and to repel negative entities, for blessings and healing work.
Cedarwood - a medicine of protection, renewal and grounding; often used to bless, cleanse & purify a home or apartment when first moving in, protecting a person, place or object from unwanted influences and attracting good energy, like a protective energy shield. Offers a level of protection that other herbs cannot.
Mugwort – healing, divination; used to stimulate dreams & visions; deepens intuitive abilities. A very powerful and magickal herb that I always include in my traditional smoke bundles.
Lavender – useful for attracting peace, health, happiness & restful sleep; aids in meditation & divination. I always include lavender in my bundles; it smells wonderful and is a powerful plant ally.
Rosemary – cleansing & protection; great for space clearing in the home; awakens the senses and encourages as sense of peace. Often used to create a “fresh start” and helps to open new doors.
Goldenrod – associated with money & luck; often used as a tool to step into abundance mindset; also known as a great herb for easing difficult transitions.
Pine – a traditional herb of protection and balance; associated with peace.
Tulsi (Holy Basil) – this highly revered sacred Indian superherb is considered a good luck herb and can attract prosperity and ward off evil. Useful for balancing the chakras, brings clarity and inner peace. Interestingly, the Roman Orthodox Church uses holy basil in ritual, because it is said to have been growing at the site of Christ’s crucifixion. In this way it is seen as a connection between death, life, and rebirth.
