Odysseus is the legendary king of Ithaca who masterminded the Trojan Horse that led to the downfall of Troy, giving the win to the Greeks. With the war won, Odysseus and his men set sail for their homeland, but in the end only one of them would return. The journey home for Odysseus and his fellows would be long and full of adventures and mortal peril. From the land of the Lotus Eaters to fated encounters with the Cyclops and later Circe, the Sorceress, who turned his men into pigs, to the Sirens and the 6-headed sea monster Scylla, Odysseus and his crew - dwindling in number with every treacherous encounter - spent 13 years together on the high seas before Zeus sank their ship with a thunderbolt in a vindictive rage. Only Odysseus survived and it took him another 7 years to make it home to his family.
