For so many of us, the Moon has always seemed like a source of mystery and magic. I’ve always had a bit of a fascination with the Moon and everything associated with the lunar side of life: water and the tides, poetry, intuition, dreams, and stars. For those of us who are women, the energy of the moon’s pull is a strong force throughout much of our lives. After all, we are governed by its tides on a monthly basis, aware of its push and pull on us through cycles and over time.
 
Tides are the rise and fall of sea levels created by the combined effects of the gravitational forces exerted by the Moon. Much like tides, we humans, too, have our own cycles, our own rhythmic rising and falling, waxing and waning. Mother Nature teaches us wisdom in her ebbs and flows.
 
All of the soaps in our Cancer collection were made with a traditional "soleseife" method - basically a seawater brine solution! This unique formula creates a deeply cleansing bar with generous moisturization, leaving your skin silky soft and smooth.
 
Our Moon Tides bar artfully captures the turbulent tides as a bright moon rises over the sea at dusk - a hazy pink horizon fast fading as the last rays of sun give way to the moonlight. Swirling blues and teals capped with white spray evoke powerful images of the sea in its eternal embrace with the moon.  Top notes of sea salt and citrus envelope the floral heart of jasmine, lilac, and orange blossom. Grounding base notes of amber and tonka offer a warm caress.

Handcrafted soap will continue to evaporate water and lose weight over time. This makes for a finer, harder, and longer lasting bar.
