The mistletoe tradition holds that a man is allowed to kiss any woman standing beneath a sprig or bouquet of Mistletoe, and vice versa. If a kiss is refused, bad luck befalls the person who declines the offer.

Mistletoe is a semi-parasitic plant that produces small white berries and grows almost exclusively in trees. It finds its home like many seeds do – through bird droppings. As the seed begins to grow, the plant attaches itself to the “host” tree in order to steal water and the essential nutrients that it needs to survive. Norse legend tell of Frigg, the Goddess of love, who was so grateful when her son Baldur was raised from the dead (after being killed by an arrow of mistletoe wood), that she praised the plant and promised a kiss to all who passed beneath it. Today sprigs of mistletoe are a classic holiday decoration and couples of all ages giddily "meet under the mistletoe" to snatch a kiss during this season of joy and love.

Meet Me Under the Mistletoe  presents a gorgeous butterfly swirl pattern in a holiday palette of red, green, gold and shimmering white evoke vibes of peace and joy. A minimalist top design of individual color drops pays homage to the plant's iconic berries. Our aromatic palette is quintessential Christmas! Invigorating top notes of eucalyptus, pine, and fir are grounded by spicy clove and cedarwood. A true holiday delight!
