Hades is, of course, the Greek name for the God of the Underworld, the Land of the Dead in Greek/Roman mythology. While some modern-day religions deem the underworld as Hell and its ruler as the incarnation of evil, the Greeks and Romans saw the underworld as a place of darkness. Although hidden from the light of day and the living in Hades myths, the god himself was not evil. He was, instead, the keeper of the laws of death and jailer of the souls of the dead, ensuring that dead mortals who entered his dark kingdom never escape.

Our Hades bar evokes the warmth of smouldering embers - indigo and grey ashes, red wisps of glowing coals. Two bars together reveals the hidden image of a moth, a symbol of the Dead, perhaps carrying messages to you from the Underworld. Hades' aromatic palette is as dark and smoky as you'd expect. Decadently spiced pumpkin and warm cider offer familiar comfort against a mysterious backdrop of incense and woodsmoke. Transcendent and beguiling!
