The Faerie Queen has always been this powerful, otherworldly beauty, ageless and ethereal, cloaked in mystery and whispers, ruling over the hidden realms of the fae. As the sovereign of the fairies, she embodies beauty, mystery, and ancient power, acting as a guardian of nature, a keeper of hidden knowledge, and, at times, a challenger or benefactor to mortals who cross her path. Historical descriptions of the Faerie Queen typically emphasize her ethereal beauty, her clothing of green, and her immense power. Stories throughout history variously describe her as being a benevolent figure with the power to remove curses and grant gifts (including immortality); other (Christian-influenced) stories tell of a darker side known to trick humans into subservience to the fae. 
 
Irish mythology and Celtic folklore references multiple Queens of the Fairies. Most of these are members or descendants of the Tuatha Dé Danann, the people of the Goddess Danu, a supernatural, god-like race in Irish mythology. In Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, the plot revolves around the central fairy characters King Oberon and Queen Titania. These weren’t inventions of Shakespeare’s but characters gathered from continental Europe’s Germanic/Frankish past, and from classical antiquity.

Bright mandarin and bubbly champagne offer mimosa cocktail vibes alongside the happy, sunshine-y warmth of the mimosa flower (aka "the tree of happiness") and its honeyed, sweet, and powdery bouquet.
