January is named for the Roman God, Janus, the God of New Beginnings and the guardian of the gates and doorways of beginnings and endings. Many believe that the New Year is the optimal time to set intentions. Intentions have a profound impact on our reality. By setting them, we direct our minds and actions toward what truly matters to us. They serve as a guide, reminding us of what is important and helping us stay aligned with our values. It is through these intentions that we can transform our desires into concrete actions and, ultimately, see our dreams come true.

Setting intentions is like planting seeds in our minds. Each intention is a promise we make to ourselves, a commitment to work towards what is important to us. Our intentions directly influence how we see things, how we act, and, consequently, our overall well-being. The more we nurture them, the more they grow, guiding our choices and behaviors in the direction we desire. By setting clear intentions, we create a roadmap to manifest our desires and shape the life we truly want.

Creating a ritual around your intentions helps root your seeds of intention, allowing those intentions to anchor more deeply and more easily manifest in our daily lives. Our Alignment bar is meant to be part of your intention setting ritual. Bathing with our Alignment bar is a magickal ritual act of cleansing oneself, both physically and spiritually. Just as you would use smoke cleansing, candles and crystals in order to create a sacred space to support you during moments of reflection and refocusing, the simple act of bathing itslef is a sacred moment of connection with oneself in preparation for important ritual work.

Our Alignment bar is Reiki blessed and imbued with positive energy. From the delicate drop swirls to the pink salt adorning the top of each bar, every step in the making of this bar carries deep symbolism aligned with clarity of purpose. Alignment is scented in uplifting bergamot and bright lemon for clearing away negativity. Sweetly resinous white copal has been used since antiquity for purification and grounding. Patchouli and tonka offer additional grounding notes and properties so that you will emerge from your bathing ritual centered and prepared.  Do good in the world.
