A seasonal favorite!

Sunrise
This time of year, the window boxes smell of the hills,
the thyme and rosemary that grew there,
crammed into the narrow spaces between the rocks
and, lower down, where there was real dirt,
competing with other things, blueberries and currants,
the small shrubby trees the bees love—
Whatever we ate smelled of the hills,
even when there was almost nothing.
Or maybe that’s what nothing tastes like, thyme and rosemary.

a poem by Louise Glück (excerpt)

We've updated this summer classic this year to include real blueberry puree from locally farmed blueberries grown by our neighbors at Wild Abandon Farm.  We even had the opportunity to take our soap pictures out in their picturesque blueberry fields!

Sweet and savory and absolutely irresistable!  Notes of ripe blueberries blend with a bright citrus medley of lemon, bergamot, blood orange and lime before raiding the garden for an herbal bounty of fresh thyme, mint, and rosemary. Earthy base notes of pine and white musk finish this clean, herbaceous fragrance!  Real indigo for the natural blue color and a sprinkling of raspberry seeds for added exfoliation. We've adorned the tops of these bars with dried juniper berries which look surprisingly close to blueberries.

Approx 4-4.5oz bar

Handcrafted soap will continue to evaporate water and lose weight over time. This makes for a finer, harder, and longer lasting bar.

Ingredients: Distilled water, Coconut oil, Hi-oleic sunflower oil, Olive oil, Sodium hydroxide*, Mango butter, Cocoa butter, Avocado oil, Castor oil, Blueberry puree, Fragrance, Raspberry seeds, Mica & Indigo; topped with juniper berries**

*None remains in final product

**Please remove botanicals before using soap.

  • Handmade soaps need to breathe! We recommend storing your soap on a slatted or free draining soap dish so that it can air dry in between uses.

    • Remove botanical toppings prior to use.
    • Don't allow your soap to sit in a puddle of water.
    • Use a wash cloth, loofah or soap saver bag to extend the life of your soap bar.
    • Use your soap bar within one year of purchase. I know they're pretty to look at, but they're intended to be used so enjoy them! :)
    • Store unused soap out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperature fluctuations and high humidity conditions.
    • You may experience colored lather with dark or brightly colored bars; however, no permanent staining should occur.
    • Discontinue use if irritation occurs
    • Soaps are for external use only & are not edible
